Wiring of RF* Motor 4285 & 4285P with Mechanical Limits (2-wires)

*) RF = Radio Frequency Remote Control; motors 4285 & 4285P are the RF versions of motors 4280 &4280P

On some coaches the color of some wires may be different than shown below; for any questions regarding this, either contact your OEM’s service department or Auto-Motion Shade technical services.

Please note that RF remote controlled motors are not recommended for cockpit shades, unless specifically authorized by your OEM for vehicles equipped for handicap use.

This motor cannot be used in conjunction with a Dash-Switch; if a Dash-Switch is desired in addition to the remote control feature, a regular motor 4280P with separate RF module 216P will have to be used instead of the motor 4285P shown above.

Note: The wiring for 1st Generation RF motors 4285 RF with mechanical limits is exactly the same, but does not include the Molex connector.
