Manual Shade –SPRING TENSION ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE

  • If the fabric rolls up from the back (standard roll-up), the LEFT adjusting wheel is used for the adjustment of the spring tension.

  • If the fabric rolls up from the front (reverse roll-up), the RIGHT adjusting wheel is used for the adjustment of the spring tension.

On the following images, we purposely chose a double roller shade with the fabric on the top shade rolling up from the back (standard roll-up), whereas the fabric on the lower shade is rolling up from the front (reverse roll-up). As a result the spring tension wheel for the top roller shade is on the left but is located on the right for the lower roller shade.

  2. If fabric rolling up from the front (reverse roll-up): To increase tension, turn the adjusting wheel up (turn counter clockwise) and to decrease spring tension turn the adjusting wheel down (turn clockwise).

Manual Shade – Top LIMIT ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE

Please note that there is no adjustment for the bottom position limit on manual shades.

  • If the fabric rolls up from the back (standard roll-up), the RIGHT adjusting wheel is used for the adjustment of the top limit.

  • If the fabric rolls up from the front (reverse roll-up), the LEFT adjusting wheel is used for the adjustment of the top limit.

On the following images, we purposely chose a double roller shade with the fabric on the top shade rolling up from the back (standard roll-up), whereas the fabric on the lower shade is rolling up from the front (reverse roll-up). As a result the limit adjusting wheel for the top roller shade is on the right but is located on the left for the lower roller shade.
