General Information and Motor Features

• All AMS motors are designed and engineered to meet the highest technical standards in the industry. They go through stringent testing at AMS’ ISO 9001-2015 certified facilities and must meet or exceed 30,000 life cycles.
• All AMS motors are equipped with mechanical limit adjustments rather than electronic ones to prevent accidental loss or inadvertent change of limit positions due to power surges, noise, power outages or other electronic interferences.
• AMS motors do not require any maintenance or servicing over their lifespan.
• AMS’ tubular motor 4280P is equipped with an internal safety spring-clutch that serves as a safety feature in case of an unexpected breakage of a motor shaft; this safety feature would prevent the shade from unravelling.
• Each motor is equipped with a metal planetary gearbox and metal gears that provide strength and longer durability than gearboxes made with nylon gears.
