Designed with guided aircraft wires, the AMS-508 allows the pull bar to remain securely positioned at virtually any height based on passenger preference. The aircraft wire system passes through the pull bar for stable multi-positioning, while integrated spring technology ensures smooth, effortless operation throughout the shade’s travel. 
Built to withstand the rigors of railway service, the side wire system is rated for loads up to 300lbs (140kgs), providing dependable long-term performance under continuous use. The shade has been rigorously cycle-tested to 60,000 cycles, validating durability and consistent tension retention over time. Engineered for high-vibration transit environments, the AMS-508 emphasizes strength, ease of maintenance, and efficient installation, making it an ideal solution for both retrofit programs and new rail car production.
