TERMS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRODUCT RETURN

  1. Each warranty claim must include a detailed description of the problem or damage,
  2. The decision whether defective products are to be returned for evaluation is at the sole discretion of Auto-Motion Shade and no product shall be returned unless an official return authorization from AMS has been received.
  3. Depending on the particular circumstances, Auto-Motion Shade, at its sole discretion, will decide which party will bear the cost of transportation should such cost occur.
  4. All products authorized by Auto-Motion Shade  to be returned to them must have the below data accompanying them and must be returned in the below-outlined manner. Failure to follow these instructions and guidelines may result in the rejection of a warranty claim:

    1. Each individual product must be tagged with the corresponding RA number, detailed description of problem or damage, vehicle model year as well as the in-service date.
    2. Products must be appropriately packaged and protected to avoid further damage while being returned. Products in poor shape when arriving at Auto-Motion Shade may not allow proper diagnostics and testing, resulting in the claim being rejected.
    3. In the case of cosmetic damage such as scratches, rips or other imperfections, they must be clearly identified on the shade.
    4. Motorized products must be returned with all motors having their short power cable with Molex connector intact, as cut power cables will no longer allow for testing of the product and thus may result in the claim being rejected by Auto-Motion Shade.
  5. All shades must be received by Auto-Motion Shade  within twenty (20) days from the date the RA number was issued.
The above warranty terms are applicable, and subject to change, unless specific terms have been agreed upon in writing with your vehicle manufacture before hand.
